It was only ever good for shitposting and memes. I'm starting to see ghiblislop in the thumbnails for ads at work, as if it my bullshit detector wasn't horrifically overtuned already. I'm sick of seeing slop on boorus too, even the best slop masterpieces are just okay compared to hand-drawn stuff and it's obvious at the briefest of glances.
