Eh, I wouldn't worry too much about it
Mavuika didn't use her own signature weapon in 5.0 either with the in-game reason being she borrowed the claymore from Kinich (and ironically it's not even Kinich's claymore either, it's the crafted four star weapon) even though everybody knows it's because they probably just hadn't modelled her real weapon yet
