When Dr. Ratio was shadowdropped for free it set the gacha space abuzz and it felt celebratory and something HSR players wanted to show off far and wide. Meanwhile in the current day free Archer (and the free RM/Luospud two patches ago) just seems like damage control for the disastrous past year and it feels like no one really gives a shit outside of "cool, some free steroids against the rampant powercreep"
