Swift is not getting replaced. It's getting turned into the system that's used to track and facilitate the trade of hard assets.
Xrp is the digitized version of those assets. You handle the financial transaction on XRP which is instant, then you deal with tracking the asset one swift, which takes about two weeks settle. Coincidentally 2 weeks is about how long it's takes to ship anything anywhere.
Chain link will not achieve XRP status because XRP will handle all derivatives and therefore a higher value base. But link isn't going to just stagnate. Everybody is awaiting the release of the new plan, which will start to roll out in October.
Link marines, y'all are marines for a reason. First ones in, last ones out. You're not going to really see the huge gains till the rug the dollar comes tax time next year in the US.
But when swift 2.0 rolls out you guys will see your real moon.
