I agree with the guy, set it to the highest as the AI isn't that smart anyways, the most significant change is that if it's just standing there waiting for something then it won't stay put if it sees an artillery rocket barrage or a giant magic flaming tornado going it's way. I do recommend you leave the campaign difficulty in normal and the AI stat modifier unchanged for your first go at it, you can always change those mid game if you're bored and think it's too easy anyways.
