We loved it when we went the fall after they opened up. My wife doesn't like to leave the states, but she loved Japan and we always talk about returning to visit (would love to explore the other prefectures like Ishikawa and Gifu).

But hearing all of the cacophony and nonsense that's been happening since then is very disheartening.
