well you don't have to wear it outside when you're still practicing. take a month or so practicing every day and you'll get used to it quickly.
best starter kit imo is:
- primer
- foundation
- foundation brush
- chapstick or nudestick
- mascara
if you learn to just apply these things correctly, you will see a pretty striking difference already.
remember: less is more and always blend to perfection.
> how to style jewelry
you also don't have to go overboard here. get your two earlobes pierced and start wearing studs or small hoops. picrel are mine and I leave them in 24/7. if you plan to do this as well, get expensive ones that open into two semispheres and not with a hinge and a pin on the back.
depending on my mood i add watch, necklace & bracelets. all very simple and minimal, instead of going for big expensive items, try to add multiple smaller ones until you get the look you desire. also makes it easier to tone it up or down.
as a side note: with jewelry you want to always colour match (gold, rose gold, silver, black, etc...), also keep things like glasses frames, belt hinge, watch, phone colour in mind if you wanna go all-in.
