I live in North Africa, so that's my experience but the heat is technically worse where it reaches above 40-50°c in the Arabian Peninsula and proper Middle East but those bastards ooze oil money that even the floor is air conditioned and there's not really density to trap the heat. Life is generally easier, so it doesn't really affect them.
