There's more doublethink than can be counted to refute the illegal argument. Every political stripe has at least five counter arguments.
It's rather unfortunate how ingrained it is that replacement is both inevitable and desirable to these people.
My mother openly spouts the "Think of the food!" lines to an audience who didn't ask. For some reason she feels the need to talk about it whenever presented with an Asian on the telly. What a good little citizen.
