They did seem broken, it wasn't just that they beat any single entity it's that they could kill them super quickly and you could force them to fight you with rampage. Even with them banned slaanesh was still the strongest faction.
I wouldn't be surprised if they get nerfed again, fucking over SPers because they weren't even amazing pre-patch.
