I'd guess the PC version could be modded to have high framerates for a really smooth experience. Maybe a No-CD crack could remove the Safedisc DRM. Hunting down the cracked versions is a lot more challenging these days. There's some cracks that were just temporary and some doesn't work, most the groups I knew are gone now from the scene.
