CC is so finicky when it doesn't want to work that troubleshooting it is pretty futile. Since various modders have their own patches for their costumes and CC itself has patches to try and make it play with certain GPUs.

I think the best thing to do besides a clean install of CC (get the basic files going and then try the Meg patch that Savagemoonboy put out in the forums), would be to read through the thread on loverslab looking for similar issues as yours. I've definitely seen that issue before as well.
