We have seen the Ukrainian mega offensives go down from 120K soldiers, to some 40K in the greatest summer offensive, to some 10K + another 10K pulled from defenses (in Kursk) and then further reinforced by pulling more troops from defenses.

It's questionable whether or not they can even assault with two brigades anymore in a single offensive.
The defenses are also so dispersed and lacking troops that they need to cover parts of the front with drones and a handful observers only.

Despite recruiting over 30K troops per month for the past two years... (That's more than +360K troops)
...their offensive capability is in manpower terms reduced by 90% as well as 60% reduction of frontline defenders.

In attrition wars, everything moves slowly until it moves very fast.
