And that's only because of the era threads were in. They were "drawfags" but they weren't drawfags like drawfags used to be, they were dramafags only there to post their avatar and shit up threads. They're the reason threads started to shift towards drama, avatars, and autism instead of actually drawing.
The squad is equivalent to them because they're representative of the thread's current era, which is defined by thread shitters and requestniggers that don't draw at all and only start drama.

The squad is like the meme team because they're slowly shifting threads in a negative direction and causing them to get worse and worse just by being their obnoxious, retarded selves. Drawfags are disappearing and we keep getting more and more thread shitters that don't draw. You can blame the squad for all the thread shitting, but threads are just as bad without them because of the impact they've had.

Essentially, the meme team lead to people like Scetic and Dante, and people like Scetic and Dante lead to the squad. I don't even want to know what the next generation of shitters are going to be like.
