Besides, I'm more talking about how more and more fanservice worked its way into the series with each season that passed, culminating in XV. Am I saying every season needed to have LE EPIC BLOOD AND GORE? No. Am I saying that the characters lose nuance and depth as the series goes on in favor of being flanderized into a stereotype/archetype? Absolutely. Like, this is even reflected in character design; Tsubasa, for example, has a more noticeable bust in Season 1, but by XV she's basically flat.
