Sometimes I wish that the whole "abnos are stuck in their ways" thing wasn't established. We coulda had funny abno hijinks in some capacity but they've all been shaved down to "thing make fight happen nostalgiabait".
I ain't expecting full fledged character arcs or something grand like that, just perhaps more mundane insights into what makes them tick.
