oh, honestly i didn't expect a real response since most people just kinda mess around when i yearnpost (which is fine). i don't tend to go to meetups unfortunately, and the times i have i've mostly kept to myself or whichever friends/meetup date (also cringe) i'm with at the time.

being an edater can be pretty stellar honestly, as long as both people are on the same page and have similar goals. frankly i prefer some aspects of it to the irl counterpart (giga cringe). it's a lot easier to get to really know somebody online compared to the song-and-dance of dating irl for example
