I always relay a story about how the consensual hypnosis scene that almost happened in Book 7 of Artemis Fowl between Holly and Artemis would have been one of the hottest things I'd ever read if it actually happened, but it cuts out right before she goes through with it. Vriska and John on the quest bed had me going through the exact thought process and hoping this time would be different, questioning the validity of my obsession, before it actually happened. My favorite thing, in my new favorite forum game, with my favorite character, being done to a nerdy 13-year-old kid exactly like me. That was what hooked me in as a Homestuck fan for life.
