The selector gachas in this game run at 4000 E Coins so it's about $60 for a soulmate and obviously you shouldn't spend that unless you're picking up a Limited character that you absolutely love and will use. Sacreds are 5000 E coins and that's around $75 (2400 coin pack twice and then the $5 360 coin pack)
The game basically revolves around "Farm Platinum tickets from Raid events to draw the Standard characters from the gacha while stockpiling Divigems for Limited banners" if you're F2P. Of course selector gachas are a huge shortcut if you can afford them but they do give out a ton of free pulls.
