i'm not even a big fan of final fantasy but in terms of overall game production and design rebirth did it a lot better. the game has an insane amount of content and it was paced out good enough for the game not to become boring. i started to get bored with stellar blade by the time I got to the second open world area. stellar blade has a lot of padding but the game never changes or evolves, the story barely does enough to get the player invested to care as well. modern squenix / final fantasy is pretty shit but they managed to make a good game with rebirth. the amount of content and variety the entire game had is pretty insane for a game to be released in 2024.
