Also though you'll be fine in most major cities I mean sure Osaka doesn't have as much English accessibility but you can still get by okay you just need to be a bit pickier for stuff like doctors.
And plenty of English teachers who don't know much Japanese manage to get by in the countryside. Once you have your housing and bills set up all you really need is groceries and travel to and from work. You just might need to travel a bit further for the emergency stuff like doctors since English ones are rarer.
