I just got ~25 nights for 616 dollars on Airbnb, sure I could have extended it more for the 1-month price but I simply didn't want to deal with the "please show 30 visa :^)" BS when this is just a visa reset run. Decent Bay view and outside the city enough to not have to deal with shitty noise pollution.
PH has this weird bell curve, if you book under 30 days out from what you want prices get absurd and if you book over 90 days out prices get absurd. You can bitch and complain "airbnb is a rippoff" but it saves me a lot of issues if it's some chinese chick who is slamming me in the cheapest shittiest room or "forgot to mention additional fees please use chat app".
If there is one thing that annoys me about PH discussion on this board is how everyone thinks it's some kind of "super own" on how little they paid for a room; yet always fail to mention the location, hotel/apartment, or other.
picrel is essentially what I booked just facing another direction for some wind off the bay. Not sure why PH threads always devolve into "U PAY HOW MUCH HUEHHUEHUE" bickering, just book what fits your bill.
