Again while true, the extent to which it applies differs from game to game.
Shadoba is at least fun even if you just update your petcraft to face the meta and get close to a 40-45% winrate.
In ygo it's way more one sided.

Same I actually advocated for the same points the other anon mentioned about the games being same handcompare just drawn out.
Took a while to realize WHY the good players actually spend so much time thinking about plays.
Sure some games I'm fucked 100% no mater what, but that is quite rare.
Those small decisions make real differences.
