Now that the console war is officially over and an official winner came out of it (Nintendo), what now?

Something is wrong. A new console/handheld from Nintendo just came out, Xbox announced the Xbox ROG Ally (first time Microsoft ships off the Xbox branding for third party OEM usage), we had all the showcases and more but /v/ doesn't seem as active as it ought to be. Where is everybody?

That didn't seem to be an issue that effected activity on /v/ until recently. I specify /v/ since I don't go to X, Reddit, Discord or any other place for games really. Is it just interest in the industry as a whole that needs looking into?
