The online right is actually in office on the federal level, while the online left has repeatedly "logic"-d itself out of any possible action plan because it's not good enough, or too much compromise, or infeasible, etc etc
The past couple years I sort of identified as a leftist but I'm kinda at the point where I think people who currently own the "leftist" label are genuinely incapable of functional leadership or organization.
Also, I've been really demoralized about the, like, virtue/integrity of the average person in recent years. Mostly just from post-school life experience.
One realization that's really shaken me is how the average person doesn't give a fuck about just, like, learning and teaching themselves. Information is more accessible than any time in history by orders of magnitudes, but that doesn't actually motivate people to slurp up knowledge or question their assumptions or biases. Actually, so often people will just wallow in their ignorance uncaringly. They'll have a question they can easily find the answer to and they just... won't. But they have no problem spreading their ignorance or assumptions loudly.
I don't really know where I'm going with this, I'm only posting like this because the thread is almost archived. But basically I've really checked out of the national/global news and I'm just trying to take care of myself and get physically better and stay safe. I'm pretty blackpilled on all political organization.
