It's weird how the guy just feels so tacked on, but also Demarco's attempt at someone like Pierrot... except we learn his horrible upbringing literally moments before he dies, and it doesn't carry any of the almost tragic weight that Pierrot's had, since you can almost feel kind of bad for the bastard that he got Clockwork Orange'd by some organization for reasons that we'll never know. With the assassin guy, it almost felt like a plot point that got cut out and thus it goes nowhere, especially since they made it seem like Axel might have had a connection, but that didn't seem to be the case at all.
