“Yes, let's head on out.” you reply, then after a moment of looking around and not seeing an exit, turn to your daughter. “Which way's out of here?”
“Come on, I'll show you the way.” your daughter says with a bit of a laugh, going over to the blue-haired woman and hugging her a moment. “Thanks Bulma, was great to catch up.”
“Likewise, feel free to stop by any time.” she replies, looking you up and down with a look you're sure you've seen somewhere before. But you don't ponder it, following your granddaughter and walking with the much shorter Earthling Krillin out of the lab and into an elevator. Riding it up and out of the lab, following your granddaughter out and through several halls until you all emerge out into the fading daylight.
“Alright, follow me.” you say, starting to lift up into the air. Only for Marron to grab your ankle, stopping you. “What is it kiddo?”
“They fixed the dome, we can't just fly out of here.” Marron tells you, you flying back down to the ground and landing beside her. “Come on, this way to the hangar. We can fly out of the dome from there.”
“Sound good, I'll follow you.” you reply, following her as she takes to the air, flying low to the ground. You follow her with Krillin, the three of you landing outside a large metal building, Marron addressing the two soldiers standing outside it. They salute her, then open the double doors, letting you all inside. You follow her and the Earthling inside, seeing several dozen people moving about. Some are working on various military-seeming craft, others are conversing or preparing to take off. You follow them both as they approach the one who seems to be in charge, a rather fierce-seeming beastman wearing a cap with lenses on it and a large green overcoat, growling orders.
“You idiots, not like that! You want to kill your pilots, putting ammunition in the guns backwards? Tear it all out and start over!” he roars, then as if sensing your approach turns towards you three. “Now wh-? Oh, evening Marron. Krillin, and you are?”
“General Karn, of the PTO.” you say, holding out a hand. Figuring introductions are in order. But the creature's eyes widen, fur stands on end as it immediately seems terrified. Only for an instant, as with a soldier's grit the creature swallows down its fear, putting on a professional facade and taking your hand in its paw.
“I've heard a lot about you. Good to see you with my own eyes. Brigadier General Yellow.” he answers, giving you his own as you shake. Seeing him closer you realize that his left eye has been injured in some previous battle, the cat man having clearly lost all sight in it. Testament to a battle survived. “I take it you three are heading out then?”
