What do you think of the prospect of AI workloads being leveraged in the professional anime pipeline? Do you see this as a good thing or a bad thing?
While I understand there is a negative stigma towards AI, it's also worth understanding that working in animation is very repetitive and time-consuming. Would it not be a good thing if anime animation quality could look significantly better in significantly less time?
Already we see plenty of examples of 3D models and all kinds of motion graphic CG being used in anime, which is often done to minimize hand-drawn animation work. In the case of AI, it can be used to actually improve the quality of character animations.
