Thats a lie. CNK, the handhelds up until Boom Bang, A Heroes Tail, Twinsanity and even CTTR have their own fanbases that overlap with the PS1 crowd who also grew up with those games. Its the Titans/LOTR reboot of Spyro games that alienated people.
