Fun fact: if you regularly wandered around the MIT media lab fifteen years ago, like I did, you'd see two names on plaques all over because of their generous donations: David Koch and Jeffrey Epstein. Around that time the director of the MIT media lab, Nicholas Negroponte, started the "One Laptop Per Child" program which manufactured low cost laptops complete with wifi and camera to vulnerable children in impoverished countries so they could ummmm lift themselves and their community out of poverty by learning to code or something.
