That makes sense with Digimon because they are just data beasts that want to digievolve and chill with tamers, Pokemon behave more like animals and pets so it clash completely, like why the fuck Ash sent his Pikachu against an unholy amount of fights where he can get badly injured just for shiny bottle caps?
