Why are they so perverted and unabashed?

I was in Japenis last year and got groped in the subway multiple times by some old tiny bald japanese man with crooked teeth. I didn't want to cause a major scene so I tried to dissuade him by glaring at him everytime he groped me but he just smiled and looked at me like I was a piece of meat on sale. I left the train as soon as I could and got back to my hotel room and cried myself to sleep.

I burned my entire manga collection when I got back home and I will never go to Japan again.
