The two state idea was formed before Jews over through the British Palestinian mandate, before Isreal was a country. So to be clear, the two state solution was in place before Jews broke the mandate with the British government declaring their own independence. Obviously this was coordinated and it stunt but you forget that the two state situation occurred before Israel was even a country.
