The real answer is because most of them are scrotes who aren't even mildly interested in the things they are cosplaying, and are just there expecting to absolutely drown in pussy. They put together pitifully lazy cosplays that look like shit, they cosplay from anime that they are only watching because it's popular, and they don't even have the dignity to educate themselves on the series they are trying to leapfrog into pussy from without realizing that the thirst trap male characters are all in series that would take more than five minutes of googling to find out details for.
