[U.C 0085-Side 6: Colony Izuma]

>Tamaki:...What can I do to help you?
>Amate: Mom, can you just chew me out already instead of-
>Tamaki: I can't keep leaving work early to deal with these...outburst of yours! Please, just tell me what is bothering you so much that you need to act up around others?
>Amate: How much longer are we going to be stuck in this place?
>Tamaki: "This place?" Young lady, do you have any idea of how privileged you are to living where you are? You are not "stuck" anywhere! If you just apply yourself instead of acting out, you could find a career that-
>Amate: Is that all there is to life?! Just...staying trapped in this colony while those jerks from the military keep us under constant watch?! We just never get to visit Earth because of them?!

Tamaki recoils for a short moment, before calming herself enough to take a seat.

>Tamaki:...If you had the chance to visit the Earth, would you apply yourself more in your studies?
>Amate: Huh? I mean...probably-
>Tamaki: Tell me right now that you would actually try!
>Amate: I-I would totally work harder!
>Tamaki:...I understand that Side 6's leadership are negotiating travel to open once again. It will be limited at first, but-
>Amate: You mean we can actually visit it?!
>Tamaki: Only certain people will be allowed to leave initially. I promise you though that if you work towards a good, respectable career, that you could be one of those allowed to travel to the Earth. If you keep misbehaving though, you will be denied that chance. Things like trespassing, leaving home after your curfew, oh, and especially dyeing your hair against your mothers wishes-
>Amate: You seriously are still mad about the hair thing?
>Tamaki: People will think you are a delinquent with that kind of behavior!
>Amate: I really don't care what others think-
>Tamaki: Well you should!

Retreating to her room for the night, Amate falls onto her bed as her usual bombardment of thought assaults her mind.
