I'm a repair junky then. I like the feeling of restoring my expensive electronics so they have twice or three times the average life. The index joysticks for me is not particularly hard. I did fuck up a few force sensors, but i was able to jump a little wire to fix that. I get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that I fixed it. I still offer my friends if they want me to fix their index joysticks. Even thought I'd do a little side hustle about repairing them. I'd have to charge too much unfortunately. Maybe I could buy used controllers and resell them after I repair it... already have a small collection of index controllers...
