If you give them a gift, they will complain "I still don't have as much as you", if you give them equal opportunity they will claim "oh woe is me, my disadvantaged background, bad luck and lumbago prevent me earning as much as you", if you ensure so called equality of outcome by giving them the same wages despite being less competent they will cry "oh, but I had to spend the first part of my life a poor muslim, surely I am entitled to compensation", if you give them your life savings and crawl on your knees to lick their boots clean they will exclaim "why am I still miserable, why do I still hate everything, you could have done more".
