The problem with this new Superman is that he's too much of a pussy. He has no confidence, he's not assertive, he lets others walk all over him and he's overly emotional. Clark is supposed to be the meek persona, Superman is supposed to project strength and confidence. Guy Gardner basically calls him a child after Superman meekly ask that kinda maybe next time they shouldn't just brutally kill the Kaiju. Comic book Superman would put Guy in his place and warn him never to do that again. Fuck, even Kara calls him a bitch to his face in his own Fortress of Solitude.

Cavill was too serious, this guy is too nice.
