Looking if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution. One problem I am running into with edge highlighting Space Marines is free-handing on wide areas, such as the outline often found on the inside of the shoulder pad. Everything else is fine, but I am struggling with keeping paint *on* the brush tip as I complete the shape.
I feel like it either instantly runs out or I simply haven’t set enough on the tip. This then leads the needing to press a bit harder which leaves a thicker stroke. I’ve tried different levels of watering down a Layer paint but none of the results have wowed me.
I’m currently using a 00 Winsor & Newton Series 7 brush and it does wonders everywhere but this portion. I’m also forcing myself to not strip and repaint everything for the fifth time because I hate one small detail on an army that isn’t even my main.
