So I got this the other day. (pic off amazon because I didn't take a pic).

I think I am out of my depth maybe or maybe it's just neves.
I've done a few MG's before nothing fancy, just nipper and using the raser plus to sand down nubs and used the provided stickers.
However I kind of want to go all out with this and give it some actual love and make it very very good.
Beeing thinking of waterslides (Which I have ordered) and then doing a top coat.
What do you think if I Did the gold pieces as gloss topcoat, the inbetween armour pieces the like grey/black as semi gloss and then the blue as matte.
Do you think this would be a nice combination. Keeping the translucent orange plastics as untouched though.

First time touching topcoats though, will practice on some disposable plastic spoons first.

Im mostly just worried about fucking up the top coat, waterslides aren't much of an issue because even when you "set" them you can just make them wet again to move them about.
