Actually listening to it right now and it has all the worst traits of bands like Rivers of Nihil, with the sense that is trying soooooo hard to be clever and give an epic vibe, while having this overtly perfect, blown-out and lifeless production. And already in the first song every single riff sounds like it's trying to be the big climax before another part comes in that tries even harder to sound even bigger than the previous part until suddenly you have some random clean section. Soooo boring. Thematically and scope-wise it reminds me of pic-rel which suffered from a lot of the same issues but at least had some nice melodies here and there. 0 songwriting, 0 atmosphere..
