This is all just incorrect. CG is being "killed" because they literally planned this. It has nothing to do with this or that game's success. This was all scheduled years in advance. Bandai Namco doesn't have unlimited money or employees to invest in the series and new works take years to develop. They used accounting to predict how long CG would be a worthwhile investment, and now its time has simply come.
