People realising that drinking alcohol to massive excess is not sustainable and actually causes brain damage long term. Lots of old drinkers think getting forgetful and having depression is normal but its because theyve nuked their brains over decades of 'casual drinking'. Spark of life gone, nothing is fun, only living until the next drinking bender every weekend, mon-thurs is hell sittintg around wanting to claw your eyes out waiting until friday so you can obliterate yourself for 3 days then suffer monday-thursday so that you can repeat it again, only to walk away with brain damage and further organ damage
