Also got pulled into a 10-Elin strike force for tackling the dreaded Kelsaik's Lair.

This one didn't go so well.
Wasn't the only healer there - thank goodness - but it didn't seem to matter. Between his devastating swipes, seemingly-unavoidable leaps, and elemental debuffs timing-out on damn-near everyone once we were a-ways into the fight, it was a total bloodbath.
Spent most of my time trying to raise the corpses of my fellow healers (and occasionally the tanks despite constantly throwing damage reduction and shields their way), to the point where I'd be so distracted attempting to salvage things that my /own/ debuffs would time-out in turn.

We somehow made it to around ~25% HP remaining during one of our attempts, but simply didn't have the coordination to go any further.
The raid's leader was really sweet, and kept a positive attitude throughout most of it, which was nice. But whew boy...
Know what to expect now against this immensely angry chicken, and I can only hope that in a more organized setting, this undertaking isn't as overwhelming as it seemed to be here.
