The full story is super convoluted but...
So, we enter the timeline of the Lostbelt 6, which strayed off rails at an unknown point. First thing we try to do is summon Robin Hood which we fail. Robin Hood is one of the easiest heroes ever to possibly be summonable. The sole conditions to trigger his summoning is:
>human hero
>with a bow
That's it. Meaning this Britain is different that either concept doesn't exist and as we learn later it's the concept of ''human heroes''. We enter Britain and learn we could at least summon Tristan (theoretically because of the connection to his land in Cornwall) but his lead soon falters and we get lost among fog. We think first it's because he has poor sense of direction, the geography of LB6's Britain is different from the PHH one and we waltzed the domain of the Nameless Forest that takes off people's memories.
Mashu loses her memory. Gets found by goblins that look like FGO producers and sold to a lion that marries her. Though the goblins knew nothing bad would happen, the Lion only wanted her for political purposes since her power matched a prophecy and Mashu accidentally knocked him out of window when he was going to bed her.
The issue?
While Mashu loses her memory like nothing, the MC actually sustains his for a bit longer when he was trying to reach her. When he wakes up among faeries he blurts out her name and Castoria claims it since he did so in front of her. He doesn't know why and soon loses further, but he cared for her much more, while Mashu didn't.
It doesn't help that Mashu's character development in Part 2 is pretty bad, stagnant over and over repeating Part 1, cockblocking the MC, killing any fun like special handshakes, taking his turn when offered a question (and wasting it pointlessly) and so on.
So this lion shit was overblown, but wasn't forgiven either. For many it was ''good riddance finally we get a proper adventure''. Helped by Castoria being a cute kinky girlfailure
