The thing I could never understand is the lack of care about women's motivations. I could get a GF. She would see me as the best option she has so she would accept me. But this does not mean she would be happy about it. Her best option (me) would be still far away from what she imagined as acceptable. I want to be loved. That option is not available, because indeed I am disgenic and my personality ain't great. I don't blame women and I dont seek excuses. I just refuse to be in a sham relationship so both of us can pass social acceptability among people we don't even like. Most couples don't even kiss and when I heard my brother's relationship is like that it just broke my heart. I really don't understand how most men in those "you are my best option and it's not great" relationships can ignore it. They see ocasional sex as ultimate proof of love, while the woman is just in quiet desperation. She's hoping not to disrupt her bf's confidence fantasy, because she would lose what little she has. Very few men can actually be loved and it's FINE. We are specialising and expecting that every guy can get into a true relationship is as deluded as thinking anyone can get into top tier NBA if they just try hard enough. That's just boomer thinkinging making rounds.
