Zelensky is reportedly considering Defence Minister Rustem Umerov as Ukraine’s next ambassador to the US, according to Suspilne. Umerov is currently seen as the sole contender for the key post in Washington. If appointed, his successor as Defence Minister will likely come from within the current government.
