With a cheeky grin, you turn to your girlfriend, and say, “Cocoa, your opponent’s weak! Get ‘em!”
She gently bonks you on the top of the head, turning to try and hide a laugh. “You dork.”
“Your dork.” you say teasingly. “But nah, she’s all yours, Goku! Show ‘em what you can do!”
He nods, hopping to his feet, then leaping over to the arena. “Hi! I’m Goku! Nice to meet ya!” he greets with a raise of one hand, then clasps them together and bows. “Let’s give this our best!”
“Hehehe, I’ll do just that, but be warned, just because I got Izzy out through that, doesn’t mean I’ll be pulling the same spooky trick twice!”
He smirks. “Counting on it.”
Baba once more holds up her hand. “Match… BEGIN!”

Phantasma does once more start up the spectral horde, but instead of sending them all at Goku at once, she has them kinda on standby, floating back a bit and actually going on the defensive. He takes that as signal to try going on the attack, and so as his aura flares up around him, Goku brings both hands together, energy flowing into his hands. And once more, he makes that construct of the Power Pole, though the flames surrounding it are noticeably more controlled, focused. Goku dashes into the air, swinging the Ki staff around and blocking several attacks aimed at him. He leaps around and rebounds against each of the constructs, cleverly even getting them to accidentally attack one another. All the while he has a big, excited grin on his face.
“Heh, same old Goku.” mom comments with a nostalgic smile on her face.
After fighting through the spectral host, Goku ends up above the storm clouds and starts twirling his Ki staff with greater ferocity than before, hard enough that it actually pushes back Phantasma’s constructs. The ghost girl attempts to surround him with Spirit Bits, trying to trap him within them. With the sun at his back, his power surges up, and he flings the staff high into the air, descending down and avoiding Phantasma’s new trick with ease, and instead catching and flinging them all back at the constructs. And he goes a step further, actually sending the constructs at Phantasma, overwhelming her with her own attack.
