i really don't get the TV being connected to the year. i mean yeah the general idea doesn't make sense considering by 1987 fredbear's was fucking closed but... reruns exist, i could easily believe fazbear's rerunning old fredbear and friends episodes or a new show had some sort of "and now a very special friend, FREDBEAR!" before rerunning an episode in the middle of a program or something. iirc before 4 it seemed that fredbear's just kind of closed without any incidents.
