>29, Crit Success!

Near silently you drew the Cinder Sword as you raced towards the gnoll. The dull grey blade started to shed embers near immediately as the rushing wind heated it up. This time you didn't even need to set the blade on fire as the gnoll got closer and closer to you. It still hadn't noticed you.

And with a simple passing slash you decapitated it, the head falling on the ground with its eyes still blinking and searching, only seeing its own body still standing before dropping like a sack of wheat.

Turning Epona around, you quickly approached your soldier.

"What happened?" You asked him, looking down at the relieved man.

"We just bumped into them, they were gathering firewood." The man replied.

"Where are the rest?" You asked next and knew it to be a stupid question, you could hear the sounds of fighting.

The crossbowman just pointed at the general direction of the sounds and you didn't need more guidance as you were immediately off.

You rode as fast as you could, just avoiding the biggest tree branches and in moments you saw the first casualties of the day. Couple of your men lay motionless on the ground in their own pools of blood, they were joined by an equal number of gnolls. The dead gnolls all had a random assortment of improvised weapons with them. Ahead of them the battle was on going. The forest here had been picked up clean of fallen trunks and smaller trees, there was actually space in here to fight mounted or in formation. Around the place your men fought their individual duels against the opposing gnolls.

A gnoll suddenly charged at you with what looked like a pitchfork, without much effort you blocked and found your riposte pushing the tip of the blade into the gnolls head, killing it instantly. A third came at you, but suddenly dropped as a matchlock shot struck it down without much effort. That brought you back to the scene around you, they needed your help, you had to act now!

Choose two:
>Your archers are being pressed by the gnolls and you know that they aren't the best fighters in melee outside the Rover Brothers.
>Crossbowmen are scattered and are fighting their individual duels against the gnolls. At least they have armour and solid weapons.
>The Bandit Rogues are holding out, but several gnolls with actual weapons and a bit of armour are approaching them.
>Lieutenant Radan is separated from his men and is surrounded by gnolls, several of them already dead.
>Several scattered men surround you, rally them and attract the attention of the gnolls, easing the pressure on the others.

QM: Crit gave you two options to take.
